Configuring custom footers

You can give users easy access to enterprise-specific links by adding custom footers to GitHub Enterprise Cloud.

Enterprise owners can configure a custom footer.

About custom footers for your enterprise

You can configure the web UI for GitHub Enterprise Cloud to display a custom footer with up to five additional links. The custom footer appears above the default GitHub footer to all enterprise members and collaborators, on all repository and organization pages for repositories and organizations that belong to the enterprise.

Configuring custom footers

  1. In the top-right corner of GitHub, click your profile photo.

  2. Depending on your environment, click Your enterprise, or click Your enterprises then click the enterprise you want to view.

  3. On the left side of the page, in the enterprise account sidebar, click Settings.

  4. Under Settings, click Profile.

  5. At the top of the page, under the navigation bar, click Custom footer.

  6. Under each "Footer Link" heading, type a title and URL.

  7. To save the content and display the custom footer, click Update custom footer.
